The point is to get a messege across that the police are targeting people in society that are of a minority or that they define as 'weak'. The non-stop harassement to the poor & people living in the street, squeegee kids, panhandlers, people that are handicapped, whether it be physicaly or mentaly... and so on. Writing a $141 ticket to someone that's lucky to have a meal that day is just bullshit, and dragging kids out to deserted, dark places & beating the living shit out of them is just fucking untolerable. On this day we rise up and tell them we want it to stop...NOW.
